Line sensor for 2-D and 3-D measurements
The ConoLine is a co-linear non-contact line measuring sensor. Its unique telecentric optical design overcomes the shadowing effect that is common with other line sensors in the market today. It has optional interchangeable objective lenses, enabling measurements of <5µm precision.

The ConoLine system offers:
  • Fast measurement rates (up to 18,000 points per second)
  • Extensive angular range coverage (up to 170°)
  • Line resolution of 600 points per line
  • Calibration data storage for multiple lenses
  • 3D profile obtained with one scan axis


Due to its interchangeable lenses, the ConoLine easily processes a wide variety of working ranges.

The ConoLine's camera output is an analog video signal which is fed into a frame grabber. The frame grabber converts the video signal into a digital signal presented as tiff" files called 'frames'. The ConoLine software processes the frames using mathematical algorithms yielding the Z coordinates, which translate into a profile.

Tire Mold Inspection
Accuracy and fidelity requirements of the tire molds measured simultaneously on different metallic materials are met at very high speed . Precise replication of complicated shapes ,angles and vertical walls is accomplished by the telecentric design
Laser Welding
When applied with robotics the Conoline sensors provides real time seam tracking and laser weld inspection quality. The precise sensor output permits to quantify variations in the welding process. It can determine if a part meets the customers' quality requirements, how the process trends including data to help improve the process.
Laser Drilling
The collinear and telecentric Conoline design permits unique on-line monitoring of laser drilling including deep blind and through holes.
