Probe emulator

Jerusalem, Israel, November 2007

OPTIMET introduces a new Probe Emulator software utility. The Probe Emulator allows the user to fully integrate Optimet sensors into any software application without having to physically connect an actual sensor.  The Probe Emulator fully simulates the behavior of the Smart
ConoProbe, the ConoProbe Mark 3.0, and the NanoConoProbe.

The Probe Emulator is a freeware that acts as a virtual sensor enabling the user to develop, test and debug software applications written for the latest generation of OPTIMET probes.  The emulator program is fully configurable and enables simulated measurement acquisition in both 'time' and 'pulse' mode in order to obtain measurement data.
An additional advantage is the option for several users to work on the application simultaneously. A debugger log file can be generated to give the developer
valuable information in trouble shooting or analyzing behavior of the probe.

The Probe Emulator application runs as a background process accessed through its PC task tray icon.

The various versions of the Probe Emulator can be downloaded from Optimet Website at: http://optimet.com/support/point_sensors.htm
