- Optimet can supply per requirement
extended lenses with focal lengths within the range
of 50mm – 250mm. The lenses shown here are only
examples.
Video Camera (CCTV)
Optimet offers a camera through
which a video picture of the object and the sensor’s
laser spot are viewed, thus the user can quickly direct
the sensor’s beam exactly to the area being measured.
The camera complies with NTSC or PAL standards and is
inserted between the ConoProbe and the objective lens.
Periscope
Since the ConoProbe is a co-linear
device, the Periscope can measure inner profiles and
surfaces such as pipes, tubes and cylinders. It bends
the line of sight in order to measure objects at any
desired angle. Using Optimet's periscope inserted between
the ConoProbe and the objective lens, the entire inner
surface of a pipe may be measured just by turning the
pipe on its axis. Periscopes can be designed according
to customer request.
Machine Vision Adaptors
Machine vision producers operate machines
that conduct highly precise and reliable X,Y measurements.
These machines have several limitations concerning the
Z axis (height/depth measurement). Opto*
and Navitar have developed special adaptors, which combine
the Optimet sensor within the vision system itself.
This combination provides a full X,Y,Z measurement solution
with one beam.
