MiniConoscan

The MiniConoscan 3000 is a compact, cost effective, easy to handle, 3-D measuring system. This system combines the inherent capabilities of the ConoProbe 1000 with a precise x-y scanning. The high accuracy and repeatability of the 3-D scanning makes it suitable for reverse engineering, quality control and general purpose applications.

Analysis Software

The Miniconoscan 3000 is provided with the viewer software, an instrument for viewing the specimen profile or 3D image. The viewer is a tool for assessing the quality of a scan and for analyzing the results .It enables focusing on specific points and also enables filtering the scan results in order to obtain optimal accuracy and export scan information to other programs.

The Miniconoscan 3000 can export data to many CAD/CAM, Surface Analysis, and Reverse Engineering applications such as Digital Surf, TrueGage, Rainbow Geomagic, RapidForm, PolyWorks, CopyCAD, and ArtCAM.

  1. As measured on a diffuse metallic step, average over 5mm, minimum 100 points, scanned in X direction. Measured over a height step 50% of working range. Reflective fine machined (N6) surfaces may give approximately two times less absolute accuracy.
  2. Measured as above, over repeated scans on similar objects without changing the setup.
  3. From the tip of the objective to center of the working range.
  4. From line measurements on "record groove " pattern object. Since the laser spot is not circular, Y spot size is approximately twice the X spot size. Consequently, the resolution in the Y direction is two times less then the resolution in X.
