Executive Summary

Optimet's ConoProbe MK10 HD with a 16mm focal lens was used to inspect paper samples. The main industrial inspection application is related to the identification and reproducibility of the paper's surface characteristics. Three‐dimensional presentations and profiles of the paper area in the different sections of the lens's working range were compared. The results obtained were highly accurate
